Electrician - EV Charger Installation Location: Bedford Start Date: Monday 9th November 2026 Duration: 4-5 Weeks Rates: £28.00 Per/Hour Hours of work: 07:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri Job Description We are currently recruiting for a team of Electricians, Electrical Improvers and a Working Electrical Supervisor for an EV Charger installation project based in Bedford. The project is due to commence on 9th November and is expected to run for approximately 4-5 weeks. We are looking for experienced individuals with a strong background in industrial electrical installations, ideally with previous experience installing EV charging infrastructure. Roles Available Qualified Electricians Electrical Improvers Working Electrical Supervisor (hands-on role) Key Responsibilities Installation of EV charging infrastructure. Cable pulling, containment and cable termination. General industrial electrical installation duties. Working alongside the site team to ensure installations are completed safely and efficiently. Working Supervisor to oversee daily activities whilst remaining hands-on with installation work. Requirements JIB Gold Card Previous industrial electrical installation experience - Essential. EV Charger installation experience - Desirable. Relevant electrical qualifications. At least one member of the team must hold City & Guilds 2921 (EV Charging Qualification). Working Supervisor must hold a valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
