Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their rapidly expanding business and become an integral part of their team. The Senior Project Manager’s goal will be to support the Product & Engineering team, ensuring that all tasks and projects are achieved in a timely and efficient manner and to the required standard. Responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager Ensure clear task prioritisation through the use of agile project management systems and regular team meetings. Liaise with team members, management and customers to ensure projects are completed to the required standard. Work with the Product & Engineering team to identify and communicate risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place. Develop project requirements and work schedules, monitor progress and ensure timely project completion and delivery. Facilitate communication between multidisciplinary engineering teams to support effective collaboration and problem-solving. Line manage Product & Engineering team leads, motivating staff and supporting effective teamwork. Write progress reports and deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders. Ensure effective communication and handover of completed development work to the production department. Key competencies of a Senior Project Manager Managing multidisciplinary teams (direct & indirect). Managing multiple projects simultaneously. Process improvement. Complex project delivery. Agile project management and iterative product development. Project management and administrative software (Jira, YouTrack). Risk management. Budgeting and financial management. Background in engineering (Electronic/Mechanical/Software). Dealing with high-profile customers/clients. Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage priorities, work independently and remain calm under pressure. Background in aviation, UAV or the defence industry would be advantageous.
