Working with established clients on a framework basis, the business delivers projects ranging from smaller specialist works through to larger-scale refurbishments and capital projects. Schemes can include office refurbishments, internal reconfigurations, M&E upgrades, specialist installations and wider building improvement works, with project values of up to £3 million. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor who enjoys managing multiple projects, building strong client relationships and taking ownership of the commercial process from initial pricing through to final account. Key Responsibilities Take commercial responsibility for multiple fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects delivered under client frameworks. Prepare and review estimates, tender submissions, cost plans and project budgets. Manage subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, negotiation and appointment. Monitor project costs, cash flow, valuations and financial forecasts throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and submit applications for payment, interim valuations and final accounts. Assess variations, compensation events and additional works, ensuring all changes are accurately valued and agreed. Produce regular cost reports and provide clear updates on project performance, risks and commercial progress. Work closely with Project Managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered within budget. Identify opportunities for value engineering, cost savings and improved commercial performance. Maintain strong working relationships with framework clients, supporting repeat business and long-term partnerships. Ensure commercial procedures, contractual obligations and reporting requirements are consistently followed. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor or construction environment. Experience delivering fit-out, refurbishment, maintenance or capital works projects. An understanding of framework contracts and the commercial requirements associated with repeat-client work would be advantageous. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ideally with values up to £3 million. Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement, cost control, valuations, variations and final accounts. Commercially astute, organised and confident communicating with clients and supply chain partners. Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of commercial outcomes. A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a strong attention to detail. Why Apply? Join an established contractor with a varied and consistent pipeline of work. Work on a diverse range of fit-out, refurbishment and specialist construction projects. Take ownership of projects from initial pricing through to completion and final account. Build long-term relationships with established framework clients. Become part of a close-knit team that values quality, collaboration and commercial transparency. Enjoy the opportunity to make a direct impact on project profitability and client satisfaction. If you are a Quantity Surveyor looking for a varied role with genuine commercial responsibility and the opportunity to develop within a growing construction business, we would be keen to hear from you
