Labourer – Wanted – Immediate Start! Surrey Based | Salary: £15ph CIS Permanent, Full-Time Are you an experienced Labourer? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Roofing Labourer to join a professional and growing roofing contractor. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role suited to someone reliable, physically fit, and confident working at height. You will support roofers across various projects, assisting with material handling, stripping roofs, preparing work areas, and ensuring safe, efficient site operations. What's on Offer: Training and further professional development Supportive management and clear communication of work schedules The opportunity to work with a reputable and professional roofing provider Qualifications Essential: Experience working as a Labourer within roofing or construction Comfortable working at height Desirable: Experience with slate, tile, or flat roofing systems Manual Handling training Working at Height training Roles & Responsibilities Assist roofers with daily tasks including stripping roofs, carrying materials, and preparing work areas Load and unload tools, tiles, felt, and other roofing materials Maintain safe, tidy, and organised work areas Work safely, taking all necessary precautions to prevent danger and avoid injury Liaise with the Roofing Supervisor regarding daily activities and work schedules Communicate effectively with staff and customers when required Maintain excellent timekeeping, as detailed in work schedules issued in advance Proactively identify and prevent potential issues on site through good preparation and organisation Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel to sites across the Midlands Support apprentices or junior labourers when required Undertake any other ad‑hoc duties as directed by the company Requirements As a Roofing Labourer, you will also be expected to: Complete basic paperwork accurately and on time Follow all instructions from the Roofing Supervisor and wider team Ensure all site information is passed on correctly in line with company standards Health, Safety & Compliance All employees are required to: Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 Co‑operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met About Regional Recruitment This position is being advertised by Regional Recruitment Ltd, an award‑winning independent recruitment agency established in 2008.
