Labourer (Hotel Project) Location: Holbeck, Leeds, LS11 5BQ Rate: £16.88 per hour (Umbrella PAYE) Start Date: Monday 19th October Duration: Ongoing Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:45am - 5:30pm About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Labourer to join a hotel refurbishment/construction project in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on a well-managed site, working alongside an experienced Site Manager and visiting Project Director. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility on site, work independently when required, and assist with a range of labouring and handyman duties. The site is located close to Leeds train station, making it ideal for candidates using public transport. Due to limited and expensive local parking, public transport is strongly recommended. Key Responsibilities General labouring duties on a busy construction site Opening and locking up the site when required Setting and managing site alarms Assisting the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations Erecting site signage neatly and accurately Carrying out general handyman and maintenance tasks Keeping the site clean, safe and organised Supporting trades and ensuring site standards are maintained Essential Requirements CSCS Green or Blue Card Minimum 5 years' labouring experience Proven history of working on construction projects for 12 weeks or longer in recent employment Based locally to Leeds or able to commute easily Reliable, trustworthy and capable of working independently Experience carrying out site opening and closing duties Ability to provide 2 references from your most recent assignments Must have worked under an Umbrella PAYE payment model within the last 12 months (this will be verified) What You'll Need Valid CSCS Card Safety boots, Hi-Vis and standard PPE Strong work ethic and excellent punctuality Good communication skills and a proactive attitude Pay & Benefits £16.88 per hour Umbrella PAYE Long working days available with consistent hours Ongoing opportunity on a high-profile hotel project Professional site management team and well-organised working environment Apply Today If you are an experienced Labourer looking for your next long-term opportunity in Leeds, we'd like to hear from you.
