Site Manager – Earthworks – Leicester Location: Leicester, Leicestershire Job Type: Freelance / Contract Sector: Civil Engineering / Earthworks Start Date: ASAP Job Description Bond Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a large earthworks project in Leicester. The successful Site Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating plant and labour, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining programme deadlines. Key Responsibilities Oversee all earthworks operations on site. Manage subcontractors, plant operators and site teams. Coordinate bulk excavations, cut and fill operations and ground preparation. Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications. Maintain high standards of health and safety. Monitor site progress and report to the Project Manager. Ensure quality standards and programme targets are achieved. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on earthworks projects. Strong background in civil engineering and bulk earthworks. Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications. Experience managing heavy plant and earthmoving operations. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
