Support Worker – Southampton - £13.11ph Typical Shifts are: 7:30am - 9:30pm / 7:30am - 2:30pm / 2:30pm - 9:30pm including some sleep-in shifts. A significant aspect of the role involves providing both one-to-one and two-to-one support during mealtimes and while accessing the local community. We're seeking a compassionate and resilient individual who is confident working independently and committed to delivering high-quality support. You will be comfortable supporting adults who may display verbal or physical behaviours that challenge, and will be able to adapt your communication approach to meet individual needs, including supporting people who are non-verbal. You will also play an active role in maintaining health and safety within the home. Sleep-in shifts are a requirement of this role and a full UK manual driving licence is highly desirable.
