Senior Project Manager – This is a great opportunity to join an Engineering Company specialising in the Electrical Engineering and Rotating Machinery sector. You will be responsible for the delivery of complex, high value engineering projects between £150K and £10million. You will be tasked with ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget in accordance with contractual, technical and quality requirements. Working throughout the full project life-cycle, you will face duties such as supporting business development and tendering activities, commissioning, final close-outs, working closely with customers/ suppliers/ subcontractors and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities: Commercial and Business Development duties such as: identifying new business opportunities, prepare quotations and cost estimates, manage budgets/ forecasting/ profitability and managing changes in projects as required. Lead the planning and delivery of high value engineering projects. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria. Develop and maintain project execution plans. Lead multi-disciplinary project teams whilst providing clear direction throughout project life-cycle. Establish appropriate project governance, standards and reporting frameworks. Identify project risks and opportunities. Adhere to and promote all health and safety standards. Conduct project evaluations and post-project reviews. Experience: Minimum 10 years of work experience at this level. Proven experience managing complex engineering project between £150K - £10million. Strong Rotating Machinery, Electrical Engineering, Power Generation background. Experience delivering projects within highly regulated industries such as nuclear, hydropower, or conventional power generation. Strong leadership skills. Education: Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline is preferred. Recognised Project Management qualification id desirable.
